Paroda panchayat resolves not to oppose new houses as 99% are illegal

There was huge uproar in Paroda gram sabha on Sunday over the issue of illegal constructions mushrooming in the village.
However, Sarpanch said not to oppose new houses coming up in the village as 99% existing houses in the village are illegal. A resolution was also adopted not oppose upcoming houses. Some locals bought up the issue of illegal construction taking place in the fields before the notice of gram sabha. This led to chaos during gram sabha. Local MLA who was also present had to face fury of locals. Later, Sarpanch adopted a resolution not to oppose new houses build by locals as 99% houses are already illegal. Gram Sabha also paid tribute to martyred soldiers in Pulwama attack, former deputy chief minister Francis D'souza and former deputy speaker Vishnu Vagh.
