LUPIN LABS RESPONDS TO VERNA LEAK

After foamy discharge was found leaking out of Lupin Laboratories in Verna Industrial Estate, the Pollution Control Board held an inspection to understand more about the situation. The Board has taken several samples from and is now inspecting the source of the leak.

 A Spokesperson for Lupin Laboratories has issued a statement after the accident.

"Lupin is a compliant organization and takes matters concerning the environment and wellbeing of people in local communities with utmost priority and sincerity. 

We have a robust water disposal and management policy that is implemented with strict adherence and supervision and in close conjunction with applicable regulatory authorities."
