Govt High Schools in the port town totally in shambles

We at Goa 365 have highlighted the state of various schools in the rural areas from across Goa.

But believe it or not, there are schools in the towns too with pathetic conditions.

 See these two schools in the port town of Vasco.

One is the Govt High School Main in the heart of Vasco and second is this school in Mangor hill.

There is literally no maintenance of these school buildings from past so many decades.

Same story in these schools too, the ceiling slabs have collapsed, floors have developed huge holes. No proper infrastructure in place, not even a play ground.

locals have demanded immediate attention of the authorities.

Education Director Gajanan Bhat says 2 school buildings will be taken up for repairs immediately.
