VENDORS OF DEMOLISHED PONDA MARKET TO BE REHABILITATED

Chairperson Ritesh Naik informed media that the council has decided to relocate market vendors to a temporary shed until the new building is constructed. Here’s what he had to say.

Several decisions were taken during the council’s board meeting today. It was decided to recover the arrears of rents, business taxes and Rs 1 crore due from shop owners in Indira Market. The decision to form a Biodiversity committee was also passed.

The statue ofDr.BabasahebAmbedkar and Mahatma Gandhi will be installed at PMC Garden next to the statue of former Prime Minister,LalBahadurShastri,RiteshNaik said.
