Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti: The man who helped shape India || KONKANI || GOA365

Ambedkar Bhavan, a building dedicated to him has been lying in shambles for years now. Art and Culture Minister Govind Gaude  expressed his sadness over the sorry condition of the building, calling on the chief minister to resolve the issue.

The 132nd birth anniversary of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar was celebrated across India today. The memories of Babasaheb, his struggle, and his ideologies were rekindled in the state as well.

A function was organized by the Social Welfare Department at Ambedkar Udyan in Panaji. Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant during the function announced that the day would be celebrated as a state function henceforth.

The government's Ambedkar Bhavan is yet to receive a structure, a process overdue for several years. While the chief minister assured that the statue would be erected soon, Art and culture minister Govind Gaude demanded that the Bhavan be built in the capital city instead.

Women’s rights and their status of Equality with men in society are some of the ideologies advocated by Dr. Babasaheb. Arun Pandey, the head of the application, who has been fighting in Goa for many years to give a new world to the affected women who are not only women but also drawn into occupations like sewing, also expressed happiness.
