Lonely After All Her Children Were Married, Woman Resorts to Stealing Baby; Arrested

The accused reportedly approached the woman at the railway station and offered to buy her baby which the mother refused. Frustrated, the accused then resorted to stealing the child from the mother during an afternoon nap and fled to Merces. Upon the mother's complaint at the Margao police station, an investigation ensued, leading to the arrest of the suspect. The baby has since been safely reunited with her mother.
