Anmod Ghat closed from Wed, traffic diverted via Amboli & Chorla

The 84-km long stretch on the national highway NH4A from Ponda to Belgaum is going for major repairs.

 Work on upgrading the 84-km stretch of NH4A from Belgaum to the Goa border via Khanapur, Gunji and Ramnagar will commence from Wednesday.

Due to this upgradation work the road will be closed for public transport until further notice, states a public notice issued by Belgaum Collector.

Till then, light motor vehicles could ply on Amboli road as well as Chorla Ghat road. But heavy vehicles would be allowed only via Ambolim.
