Konkani film Amori to be screened in schools: Nilesh Cabral

Amori is a new Konkani movie, which won the prestigious national award even before it was released. The film based on water conservation and a nexus between politicians and builders was premiered on Thursday in Madgao.



 Environment Minister Nilesh Cabral said he would request the Chief Minister to screen this educative film in all the schools and colllges.

 

  

 The premiere held in Inox in Madgao was graced by Cabral as well as Leader of the Opposition Digambar Kamat and Madgao municipal chairperson Babita Prabhudesai. The film highlights the importance of natural water resources like springs, waterfalls, lakes and wells.

 

 The film based on environmental protection was also viewed by several environmental activists as well as social activists. They were simply inspired by this film directed by Dinesh Bhosle.
